Audrey Barker Plotkin is Senior Scientist and Site & Research Manager at the Harvard Forest, and Director of the Harvard Forest Summer Research Program in Ecology. Her research delves into how long-term forest development trajectories are shaped by disturbances such as wind and invasive insects. She has a PhD in Environmental Conservation from the University of Massachusetts,  an MS in Forestry from the University of Maine that focused on forest ecology and silviculture, and a BA from Carleton College in Biology. Audrey is involved in land management as the Site Manager at Harvard Forest, and as a Massachusetts licensed forester.
