Conference Facility

The Harvard Forest's conference center welcomes a wide range of visitors annually for workshops, retreats, professional gatherings, and more. Conference center services include meeting space, dining space, overnight lodging, and guided tours with Harvard Forest research staff.

Make a Reservation

College classes, University groups, non-profit organizations, government groups, and other professional groups are welcome to make a reservation.

Accessibility

All meeting spaces, dining space, and restroom facilities are located on an accessible route on the first floor of Harvard Forest’s main building. Accessible parking is at the rear of the building, and the accessible entrance is equipped with an automatic door opener. Service animals are welcome. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact us at  hfvisit@fas.harvard.edu in advance of your participation or visit. 

Meeting Spaces

Available for groups of 5-75 people; all spaces feature built-in projection capability via wired laptop connection. Please see our current fee schedule here.

Fisher Museum

Suitable for 75 people in auditorium-style seating, or 45 seated around 6’ tables.

Suitable for 30 people; furniture cannot be rearranged.

Catering

Harvard Forest does not offer in-house catering. However, Harvard Forest does provide a list of recommended local caterers to all confirmed visiting groups.

Staff Guided Tours

Guided tours  showcase the Harvard Forest’s varied landscape and ongoing ecological research. Please see our current fee schedule here.

Overnight Accommodations

Available for up to 50 people in singles, doubles and triple rooms. Units are stocked with basic utensils for cooking and eating, as well as a fridge/freezer, stove, coffee maker, and microwave. Sheets, pillows, blankets, towels and soap are provided. Please see our current fee schedule here.

Community Dorm South
Maximum 7 people, 4 rooms total. All bedrooms are upstairs.
