Hydrological Stations

Permanent hydrological stations are installed on two small headwater streams, Nelson Brook and Bigelow Brook, on the Prospect Hill Tract. 15-minute and daily values are posted on the Harvard Forest web page in near-real time. Snow Pillow

Located on the Prospect Hill Tract, the Harvard Forest Snow Pillow measures the water content (snow water equivalent) of the snowpack during the winter months. 15-minute and daily values are posted on the Harvard Forest web page in near-real time.
