Public Film Screening & Q&A: The Forest in the Trees

November 10 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm
Forest in the Trees film poster shows Dr. O'Keefe walking on a path in the autumn woods with binoculars, a Harvard Forest sweatshirt, and an orange hat.

Join us in the Fisher Museum on November 10 at 6:30 p.m. for a film screening and scientist Q&A that will illuminate the fascinating, human story of Harvard Forest’s most-downloaded dataset, a remarkable 37-year record of the changing timing of spring bud-burst and autumn leaf-drop in 30 individual trees at Harvard Forest.

A screening of the 15-minute film, The Forest in the Trees, will be followed by a Q&A with filmmaker and Harvard Forest educator, Ben Goulet-Scott, with Dr. John O’Keefe, the emeritus Harvard Forest researcher and educator whose long-term research is the subject of the film.

The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided. No RSVP’s are required.
