Conservation and Management

Printer-friendly version

Much of the work undertaken at the Forest, which is rooted in basic studies of ecological and historical processes, is conducted in partnership with conservation organizations or focused on real-world issues that confront land managers and conservationists. These efforts seek to apply both our extensive scientific results to pressing societal problems and to identify major research questions at the heart of management challenges and issues.
