Climate Science Day on Capitol Hill

HF Outreach Manager Clarisse Hart (middle) represents the Forest at Climate Science Day 2011, sponsored by NEON, ESA, and 19 other scientific associations. In meetings with the offices of 9 Northeastern senators and reprentatives, she discussed the benefits of long-term research and the many ways forests impact air quality, carbon storage, and watersheds.
