Harvard Forest's "Mega-plot" Nears Completion

Harvard Forest researchers have nearly finished a major forest census begun in summer 2010 on a 35-hectare "mega-plot" on Prospect Hill. Harvard Forest Receives AV Improvement Grant

Harvard Forest has received a departmental support grant from the Harvard University Tozier Fund to upgrade our audio-visual and video conferencing capabilities. The Dr. Charles H. Field Wireless Network

The Harvard Forest Field Wireless Network (HFFW) became operational this spring with funding from the National Science Foundation and Harvard University. The HFFW provides high-speed Internet access to field sites across the 400-ha Prospect Hill Tract, enabling researchers and students to monitor and control their equipment over the network and to collect and process data in real time.
