PLEASE NOTE: In compliance with Harvard University policy to reduce the risk of COVID-19, as of Saturday, March 13, Harvard Forest office buildings and the Fisher Museum will be closed to the public at least through April 30, 2020.

Recreational trails will remain open to the public during this time.

Fisher House Autumn

The Harvard Forest's conference center, including onsite housing and meeting facility, is available for use by visiting ecological research and education groups.

In addition, the facility hosts various eduational programs by reservation for K-12, undergraduate and graduate students. Please be advised that changes to reservation capacity went into effect in 2019. Learn more about field trips and tours.

Harvard Forest is an active ecological research site and therefore Shaler Hall, John G. Torrey Lab and the Archive Buildings are not open to the general public. However, the Forest trails and Fisher Museum are open to all visitors to explore at their leisure.
