Practice-based Learning

We seek to advance strategies for increasing the societal impact of long-term ecological research through practice-based learning. We develop case studies and distill lessons and best practices based on our direct experience working at the interface of science and environmental decision making.  Recent publications include a review of the Hubbard Brook Research Foundation Science Links program and a series of case studies on science and policy efforts  at several forest sites that are part of the NSF LTER network.
