As part of NE Forests 2100, a U.S. Forest Service led effort to synthesize available research on the current and potential future effects of climate change on the regions forests, we collaborated to produce the report "Changing Climate, Changing Forests: the Impacts of Climate Change on Forests of the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada" which is expected to be published in 2012. The report highlights observed and anticipated changes in rain and snowfall patterns, temperature, nutrient-cycling, forest composition and structure, pests and pathogens, and indicator wildlife in the northeast.
