EMS Tower Measures Atmospheric Exchange and Provides A Real-Time View

Printer-friendly version

The Environmental Measurements Tower (viewed here from the canopy walk-up tower nearby), maintained since 1990 by Harvard researchers Steve Wofsy and Bill Munger, provides the world's longest continuous measurement of carbon exchange between a forest and the atmosphere. A Pheno-Cam perched atop this tower gives a real-time view of Prospect Hill.
