K-12 Field Trips![]() Interpretive tours of the Fisher Museum and Harvard Forest can be arranged by calling (978) 756-6146 or emailing Pamela Snow, Schoolyard Coordinator hf-edu@fas.harvard.edu. Once you have talked with the schoolyard coordinator, please make a reservation. Programs are tailored to the individual group background and interest. Our museum displays emphasize land-use history (as illustrated in the Fisher Museum dioramas), forest ecology, and the long-term ecological research being conducted at Harvard Forest. A variety of nature trails is available for guided or unguided walks. Those groups participating in the Harvard LTER Schoolyard Program may request special visits to related habitat and study areas. Occasionally, Schoolyard scientsts are available to meet with student groups. Find out more details about the tours and their cost. |
