International Research Projects

Printer-friendly version

Harvard Forest research scales from forest plots in Petersham and the New England Region to encompass topics of international importance and sites around the world. International collaborations have been forged with researchers on every continent and International LTER sites and provide opportunities for student participation. These international collaborations allow researchers to test hypotheses and models derived from intensive research at geographically dispersed sites. The results are used in high-level syntheses of ecological data that are used to generate novel ecological theories and inform global conservation efforts.
