Opportunities for Students, Post-docs and Senior Researchers
- Summer internships for undergraduates are available through the Harvard Forest Summer Research Program in Forest Ecology, a National Science Foundation REU site program. In most years, I mentor 1-2 students to work on projects relating to foundation species and ants at the Harvard Forest, and 1 student to work on tipping-point dynamics research using the pitcher-plant model system. Applications for these internships are due each year at the beginning of February, and must be completed on-line.
- Graduate students. I am no longer accepting graduate students.
- Post-docs. I am no longer sponsoring post-doctoral researchers.
- Senior researchers interested in spending time at the Harvard Forest should first read the Guidelines for Conducting Research at the Harvard Forest. The Harvard Forest annually offers Charles Bullard Fellowships to support mid-career researchers who would like to pursue projects here. Applications are due February 1st.
