- Abstract:
Minimum temperature, maximum temperature, and 24-hour precipitation amounts were recorded daily at the Shaler Meteorological Station located 30 m southeast of the main headquarters building (Shaler Hall). Instruments (minimum and maximum thermometers and rain gage) were supplied and maintained by NOAA. Instruments were read manually each morning at about 8:00 am. Precipitation data were published in NOAA's Climatological Data: New England. The Shaler Met Station was replaced by the Fisher Met Station and discontinued on 30 June 2002.
